Finally some updates are a-foot! The workshop has slowly been filling up over the winter with projects. Firstly, Simon and the team have been working on this Mk2 Transit. With rear wheelarches welded in and some reconstructive surgery required on doors, bonnet and wings, it's slowly nearing its way to the booth...

Work has been coming along a-pace with the Wolseley too. The car is MoT'd and the new metalwork is being let in. The flared wheelarches have been removed and new replacements fabricated, along with repairs being made to the door bottoms and other areas of rust the needed attention. The whole car, as can be seen, is now in bare-metal and on the way to being re-finished.

Outside of Mitchville's, Simon has been collaborating on a few projects with Spectrum Paintworx. One such car he worked one was this Subaru Imprezza. Finished in Audi Orange with black bonnet, it's unmistakable on the roads in the local area.

Another project we had in prior to Christmas was this pro-street Ford 100e estate (Escort/Squire) project. With a tube frame by Chris Isaacs it was our task to make good the door gaps, stretch the rear arches and fit a high-level rear brakelight. To stretch the arches first we had to drop the entire rear suspension and axle out to get the wheels off. Thankfully with all the arches now stretched this should be a lot less drama, and obviously the arches are a nice and safe distnace from the tyres!

We now have a Ford Anglia 100E to get our teeth stuck into. We had it dipped and E-coated and it is now back with us ready to start on a Zetec conversion. Anyone with a good Ford Escort 1800 they want to get rid of give us a bell...

The Mk1 Capri has recently arrived back from the blasters. It needs pretty extensive work so is going to be in our workshop for quite some time!
