British Hot Rod Association - Meeting every Thursday night at Mickey's Diner on the A229 Bluebell Hill, Kent, also a cruise night first Saturday of every month at the same venue. The club caters for anyone with an interest in hot rods, from Ford 100E's to Chevy trucks. They're a really friendly bunch with a wealth of knowledge and anecdotes. Both Simon and Jeff are members of the club and can often be found out and about with them. Visit their new website at www.bhra.btik.com.

www.oldskoolford.co.uk - This web-based club caters for all older Fords, from Mk1 Cortina's to Mk1 Fiestas; Mk2 Zephyr's to Mk2 Granada's. It doesn't matter if your car is bog standard or does 8 second quarter-miles, you're welcome. They are the friendliest bunch of people you could ever hope to meet; and with a wealth of knowledge and experience you'll always find the answers you need. This club is a must if your Ford is Old Skool!

Mopar Muscle Association - www.moparuk.com. Catering for all Chrysler group musclecars and, well, anything Mopar!

Invicta Roadsters - Catering for hot rods and custom cars in the Ashford area, these guys work closely with the BHRA and are a great bunch. Visit their website at www.invictaroadsters.com to find out more! Cruise night at the Riverside Diner, Ashford, every 3rd Saturday of the month.

They also do "Run What Ya Brung" days too if you fancy having a go yourself! www.santapod.co.uk for more details.

Shakespeare County Raceway - Based just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon, "Shakey" offers a top-quality dragstrip with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
